Based on the feedback we received on the Calendar View for offers, our latest update introduces several visual and UX improvements for the so-called Package View.
The guest experience is improved with a streamlined calendar that is easier to use and navigate on all devices. More detailed and clearer data is also available at once, as well as more contextual information that allows guests to more intuitively understand availability, pricing and restrictions, if any.
Some highlights introduced with this update include:
- Minimum stay display: When selecting a specific arrival date, the guest will be shown the minimum number of nights that must be selected in order to understand which dates of stay are possible in the package. The same applies to the maximum stay of a package.
- In the future, it will no longer be necessary to include a start date in the package view in order to display the package. The system now automatically finds the first available and bookable date, taking into account the specified restrictions. In case there are no dates available for the package in the future, the system will display the general availability of the property and other offers.
- Extension of the displayed periods in the calendar: the Package View now shows 2 months (desktop) or 1 month (mobile) of the possible arrival dates.
